Park Arrangement on Asian Games Venue Reaches 50 Percent

East Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. has planted around 50 percent of 17,230 ornamental crops to beautify green lanes and parks near Asian Games venue. This planting is targeted to finish in July.

East Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. Head, Romi Sidharta said, 25 personnel were deployed to plant the crops on green lanes and parks. Especially in Jakarta International Equestrian Park and Velodrome, Rawamangun.

"Park arrangement and green lane on Asian Games venue has reached 50 percent from total 17,230 crops. We target it to completed in July," he said, Wednesday (5/30).

More Crops Planted on Sentiong Riverbank Kemayoran

Planting is done on Jalan Pulomas Raya, Jalan Pulomas Timur, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Jalan Pulomas Barat, Jalan Pulomas Timur, Jalan Kayu Putih Raya, Jalan Pemuda Raya, and other spots.

Types of planted ornamental crops on the locations are jasmine, willow, yellow betel, philo, bougenville, yellow palm, cordyline, and others. 6,100 of 17,230 ornamental crops that will be planted are given from Jakarta Forestry Dept.'s Seed Supply Unit and others are from seed processing on the field.
